To lead one or more region-wide RMS (or Nielsen) company initiatives, in order to deliver mid to long-term growth and/or cost leadership priorities.
To build strong employee engagement, by developing the expertise and capability of the RMS product specialists.
Key result areas of the role include the following:
(a) Strategic planning and effective execution of RMS operating plans to achieve planned growth and deliver on RMS key performance indicators and financial commitments.
(b) Participate in the country management team to maximise Nielsen’s total business success in the local market.
(c) Collaborate with other Nielsen product leaders, client leaders, global business services (GBS) leaders and other corporate functional heads to drive successful implementation and delivery of RMS services to clients, both existing and planned new services in line with agreed global/regional strategies and priorities.
(d) Support Nielsen Retailer Services to maintain cooperation with existing Retailers and to secure cooperation of new Retailers.
(e) Participate in the creation and strengthening of Nielsen corporate brand equity in the local market through participation in external media, local events, local industry associations as well as client events to demonstrate market capabilities and build market interest.
(f) Drive client satisfaction and engagement by product specialists through effective client servicing and execution of servicing standards working in collaboration with the client leaders.
(g) Achieve high levels of employee engagement through effective leadership and creation of open, simple and integrated workplace environment conducive to high performing teams.
(h) Build medium to long term RMS product development plans by gathering client feedback on current and future needs to highlight future market opportunities and challenges for RMS in particular, and Nielsen as a whole.

Typical Position Pre-requisites :
•University degree in Business / Marketing / Statistics / Operations Research
•12 - 15 years experience in Market Research
