ORGANISATION SET-UP
Mr. M.R. Warerkar started his practice as an Architect in June 1963. The name of the practice was M.R. Warerkar & Associates.
Before starting his practice he worked with the Directorate General of Health Services, Ministry of Health, and Government of India from 1956 to 1960. In this organization he worked on the expansion and modernization of Safdarjung Hospital and also on the construction of All India Institute of Medical Sciences. Thereafter he joined the firm of M/s. Kanvinde & Rai, Architects & Engineers, New Delhi. While working with M/s. Kanvinde & Rai, he was awarded a French Government Scholarship and he worked in the office of Prof. E. Beaudouin, National Professor of Architecture and Town Planning at Ecole Des Beaux Arts, Paris.
As the volume of work with M.R. Warerkar & Associates increased the firm was converted into a private limited firm in the year 1983 with M.R. Warerkar as Managing Director and Mr. S.B. Shah (Civil Engineer) and Mr. Parag Warerkar (Architect) as Directors.
The above are assisted by qualified and experienced Architects and Engineers. The total staff on the roll of the firm is 60 (sixty).
Besides the above the firm has Structural Engineering Consultants, Electrical and Air-Conditioning Consultants, Acoustical Consultants, Landscape Designers etc. as Consultants.
The firm has its own office building with a covered area of 5500 sq.ft. It is located in a quiet place, away from the hubbub of a commercial place, surrounded on two sides by open green spaces.
All the Architects are registered with the Council of Architecture. The firm is equipped with the latest software and hardware.
