Paul Howes founded the company with over 10 year’s construction recruitment experience both in South Africa and the UK:

The Straight Edge Specialist Recruitment vision is to establish itself as an independent recruitment service dealing with a selected number of premium clients that have built a relationship between themselves and the company over time, built on a track record of successful placements and an open and honest interaction.
Coupled with this is the ongoing aim to build a data base of professional construction personnel that is satisfied by the service they as candidates receive and is able to adequately fulfill the requirements of clients.

Client Services
We realise that our clients can call at any time looking for the right candidate. That is why we have already invested the time and money on advertising screening CVs and interviewing candidates to create a data base of individuals ready and able to fulfill client expectations. If the right person is not on our books we know how to find them using combinations of tailored marketing strategies and associations to attract the right people.
All candidates are thoroughly screened and CV’s are prepared in a format that allows for easy comparison of candidates. We will always endeavour to provide you with just two or three candidates for each role, because we understand that clients are interested in quality not quantity.
Candidate Services
Every candidate will be treated as a potential placement. The candidate will be required to demonstrate the required level of skills and stability and from there we can offer career counseling and management.
Our aim is that as each candidate is placed they become a client and return to us to assist with their recruitment requirement.
