The expansion is an integral part of our overall R&D global strategy of accessing top-talent around the world to advance our discovery and early drug development capabilities. We will significantly increase the scope of our existing relationship with Biocon, the leading Indian biotech company, to further develop integrated capabilities in medicinal chemistry, biology, drug metabolism, and pharmaceutical development. Biocon, through its subsidiary Syngene International, is working with us to establish a research facility that could ultimately house more than 400 scientists.

The selected individual will oversee activities and build the group through recruiting talented staff with diverse skillsets. Candidate should have a Ph.D. or equivalent in Organic Chemistry and or Medicinal Chemistry with 10-15 years of hands on experience in a MNC pharma industry.
