Company description:
We are a 43 Room Hotel situated in Blantyre Malawi with conferencing facilities for 300-400 people. We have an in house a la carte restaurant seating 100 persons. We also have a food court area complex with a fast food take away/restaurant and an Ice Cream parlor. We are in the process of extending the Hotel with an extra 100 rooms and a large conference hall to accommodate 1,000 people.
We are in the process of recruiting some staff and we seek the help of your organization to assist in recruiting able staff with knowledge and expertise of international standards in the Hotel Industry.
The staff we intend to recruit are as follows:
Restaurant Manager/Captain
This person’s responsibility should be to interact with the clients who come to the 100 seat restaurant. He will be responsible for monitoring orders and also training the restaurant staff on all the day to day operations of the restaurant. He will also work with the chefs on setting menu’s and be required to assist with Banqueting functions as and when necessary. The person required for this post must be preferably single with a minimum of 5 years experience and must be fully conversant in English.
Chinese & Indian Chef
We are in the market to recruit a Chinese chef with ability to also prepare Indian and Continental food if required. He must be a person who is a master at his profession. He must have adequate knowledge of planning and setting Menu’s for large and small functions and also have the art of modern ‘fusion’ cooking with emphasis on excellent food presentation. The person required for this post must be preferably single with a minimum of 5 years experience and must be fully conversant in English.
Continental & Grill Chef
We are in the market to recruit a Continental chef with ability to also prepare Grill food if required. He must be a person who is a master at his profession. He must have adequate knowledge of planning and setting Menu’s for large and small functions and also have the art of modern ‘fusion’ cooking with emphasis on excellent food presentation. The person required for this post must be preferably single with a minimum of 5 years experience and must be fully conversant in English.
Front Office Reservations and Sales Manager.
This post is very important and the candidate must have excellent ability to deal with customers and ensure the smooth running of the reception and check in area. He must be fluent in English and have at least 5 years experience in a similar position. This person must be computer literate as we operate Room master 2000 point of sale software programme.
Fast Food Chef/Manager
Our fast food outlet called “BLUE SAVANNAH’ specializes in Pizzas, Burgers, Fried/roasted/grilled chickens. We need a person who has prior knowledge of working in a franchise such as Pizza Hut and have the basic knowledge of preparing pizza’s from the dough stage.
He must be a person who is a master at his profession.
He must have adequate knowledge of planning and setting Menu’s and make sure that food is prepared fast. The person required for this post must be preferably single with a minimum of 3/5 years experience and must be fully conversant in English.
Ice Cream Maker/Manager
Our Ice Cream parlor is called “SCOOPS & SHAKES’. We specialize in home made Ice Cream and must have knowledge of preparing exotic Ice Creams from fresh milk and also have the knowledge of preparing all Ice Cream related products. He must be a person who is a master at his profession. The person required for this post must be preferably single with a minimum of 5 years experience and must be fully conversant in English and also have an excellent ability to converse and deal with children as well as adults.
